Retirees Fastest Growing Hotspots

Americans are relocating to the most popular destinations that are rapidly reshaping as the retirement hotspots. Especially massive baby boomer’s retirees are choosing the second homes to spend their retirement in the most classic places. Most of the people search the beautiful scenery, warm weather and the classic style or all at one place. This reshaping is a great boom to the real estate markets across the county.

The annual reports say, out of 74 million nearly 50 million Americans who were born between 1946 and 1964 had already moved out. Last year has been recorded the highest milestones made, nearly 1.2 million people aged around 55 or older has relocated out the state. 

There are more and more Americans approaching their retirement to be spent in the place where they are at present. But many retirees opt to relocate once they have left their careers. Among them few seek a low-cost living location which is walkable and friendly environment. While some chooses the location where they vacationed as children and most of them want beautiful sceneries and tourist environment. As there is no one size that fits all!!!

Retirees are packing their bags for these following retirement hotspots!!!

1.    Patricia McGuire – Here the home values range from $200,000 to over $1 million. The blissful oceanic view and the easy boaters access offers you a peaceful retirement.

2.    Cape Coral – The complete warm weather and the chill vibes of coastal location on the western side have became the most appealing places in the recent years. Here the home values range from $299,100 to higher.

3.    Prescott – the modest mountain town, where every evening could be spent with the glorious sunset behind Thumb Butte. The Prescott National Park offers the hiking and mountain biking opportunities. Here the median home sale starts at $399,100.

4.    Santa Fe – the prime stop for the retirees with the unique art galleries, shops, restaurant and the boomers. When compared to the West Coast cities the real estate prices are minimal and beneficial with the adobe architecture.

5.    Tucson – the cheapest place for the people who crave dry heat. In Arizona, Tucson is the hot spot and the big city. With an hour drive you can reach out Mount Lemmon Ski valley and resort.

6.    Morehead City – the crystal coast with limited tourist stretches around 85 miles of the Atlantic Coastline. You can engage with fishing, sun bath, go on a deep-sea excursion and can hang out at the North Carolina Seafood fest.

7.    Asheville – San Francisco of East well known for its local food restaurants, craft berries, art galleries and music scenes.

8.    Barnstable town – The white sandy beaches of Cape Cod, many of the retirees vacationed here during their working careers and wish to live full-time out here.

9.    Traverse City – the place where the baby boomers spent as kid by fishing and swimming in Lake Michigan. So far, the retirees opt buying older cottages or plots along the lake side.

10.    Ocean City – the happiest seaside town in the U.S, the retirees prefer to buy ocean front condos to retire in.
